The Truth About Permanent Hair Removal Cream

Grace Blume had a medicine cabinet full of hair removal products. "I'm constantly looking for something else that might give me silky smooth legs without shaving. When I one of my friends mentioned they had seen permanent hair removal cream on an infomercial I started to keep an eye out for it."

I was finally able to get my hands on it. Here's my review of sorts.

For starters this so called permanent hair removal cream actually was only permanent in name only. What it does promise is to slow the down the rate or growth. But you had to keep slathering it on if you wanted your legs and underarms to remain hair free.

For me it stung my skin just a bit.

Yet the smell wasn't obnoxious or anything like some hair removal creams are.

According to the label you'd be well advised to see how well you tolerate it by testing a small area before smearing it up and down the entire length of your legs.

Based on that and some other warnings, I'm not so sure I'd look at this type of product for permanent facial hair removal either. Even under the best of circumstances.

I'd also not leave it on longer than recommended.

Plus the label advised against swimming in a heavily chlorinated pool for 24 hours.

Then too what I did was follow up each "treatment" with an application of soothing baby cream. Or you might go with any moisturizing lotion.

Returning to the real world, was this the permanent hair removal cream of my dreams? Probably not. Not sure such a product exists yet even if it did appear that my hair grew back softer and finer. But I'll keep looking and let you know if I find one okay?
